Kojo Materials Management System Announces Integration with Procore

March 17, 2022

Kojo Systems, the leader in material procurement and management solutions for trade and self-perform contractors, today announced a partnership with Procore Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of construction management software. Kojo’s partnership with Procore brings together two best-in-class construction platforms, helping trade contractors to reduce overhead costs and increase labor productivity, essential in the current market where supply chain issues continue to negatively impact contractors.

Materials typically account for 40% of construction project budgets, yet the process to procure, manage, and track materials from purchase to delivery remains manual and inefficient, and impacts contractors’ margins. Kojo is the first solution enabling trade contractors to find the right materials, at the right price, and track them from supplier to warehouse to jobsite.

The process of getting construction materials to the job site at the right time and price is surprisingly complex, involving many steps and stakeholders. Just as Procore was one of the first to streamline communication across project teams, Kojo was the first to connect purchasing teams with the field, warehouse, and suppliers to reduce miscommunications, steps, and lag time.

“From day one, we’ve been hyper-focused on solving the materials management problem for trade and self-perform contractors - we pioneered this space, and we’re committed to continuing to drive innovation. We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Procore, as it gives our customers the ability to use Kojo’s purpose-built solutions to solve their material management challenges, while also seeing key material-related data in the broader context of their project management system.” - Maria Rioumine, CEO at Kojo.

Contractors using Kojo benefit from shortened turnaround time, lower overall material costs, and a reduced risk of backorders or delays. The benefits of Kojo even touch the labor budget, with purchasing teams spending 75% less time processing POs and the field spending 38% less time on materials management overall.

“Procore launched the new wave of collaborative construction technology, and we know a fellow innovator when we see one. Materials management is a complex and difficult problem, and we are confident that Kojo is offering a great solution.  We’re excited to offer contractors a solution in which they can leverage Kojo for the fine details of material management while still maintaining comprehensive project oversight within the Procore platform.” - Kris Lengieza, VP, Global Partnerships & Alliances, Procore.

Today’s announcement represents a strong collaborative relationship between two leading players in construction technology. The integration is now available. Learn more at the Procore App Marketplace.
